Helped kick off The NCSS/NICTA embedded systems stream

As part of an Embedded Systems Australia (ESA) and NICTA initiative, ATS helped organise the introduction of the Embedded Programming stream for the National Computer Science School.


Nicta/Artemis RoboFiddler

Helped the students prepare a stable/coherent system for entry into the Artemis contest.


Open Source Employment

Set up the Open Source Employment website for OSIA. (Now defunct)


IEEE Seminars

Organises a series of seminars, networking meet-ups for the IEEE.


Presenter LCA 2009

Presented a talk on how to go about reverse engineering un-documented embedded systems.


Convener LCA 2008

ATS organised the mini-embedded conference for the Linux Australia Conference. The theme for this year was "Meshing Disciplines". The key talk was an RMIT post-graduate Arts student discussing how humans related to active working robots as part of performance art.


Convener LCA 2007

ATS organised the mini-embedded conference for the Linux Australia Conference. The theme was "Embedded Systems in Australia"

ATS was a financial supporter of this LCA.


Presenter LCA 2006

Presented a light hearted discussion on desktop Linux vs embedded systems. The main point was desktop applications are simple in comparison to embedded systems.
