The second seminar held by the IEEE Computer Society was "Open Source Software Adoption: Anatomy of Success and Failure" by Professor Brian Fitzgerald of Lero and the University of Limerick, Ireland.

This was a very good seminar discussing the porblems associated with introducing Open Source systems into a hospital in Ireland. The problems noted and addressed in this seminar are relevant to any introduction of new systems and processes into any organisation.
